Fact-checking is more than quality control: it's foundational. It's at the core of listener trust. But where do you start? In this introductory course, you'll leave with the knowledge you need to contract fact-checkers for your project and/or to become one yourself.

Nature Writing Walk--Washington Crossing

Hopewell Township, NJ

We'll meet in a pastoral, Walden Pond-like setting: a state park where George Washington crossed the Delaware in 1776. This experience is special because it balances what we all seek from nature—creativity, peace, inspiration—with 'real talk' from a writer who's been there, literally. You'll walk in a writer's shoes. We'll stop at the secret, quiet nooks along the river to read where I read, and write where I write.

You'll leave with my feedback on your free-writing, a curated packet of work that's inspired me, as well as notes from your peers.
